Using this site

This site describes electrical services offered by Shockwave Electric across Salt Lake and Utah counties, Utah. You may use it to learn what we do and to ask us for a price.

Quotes and prices

Anything on this site is information, not an offer to enter a contract. A request through the booking form is a request, not a booking. Work is scheduled only once we have confirmed a time with you directly.

Any figure given before we have seen the job is an estimate. Electrical work regularly turns up conditions that cannot be seen from a photograph or a description, so a final price is confirmed in writing once we have looked. If the scope changes after work begins, we tell you before the cost changes.

Permits and inspection

Where the work requires a permit, we say so before starting and the work is left ready for inspection. Requirements are set by the local authority, not by us, and they change.

Safety information on this site

Some pages carry general guidance, such as switching off a breaker if you can smell burning. That is general safety information, not advice about your specific installation, and it is no substitute for having someone look at it. If you believe there is immediate danger, call the fire service.

Accuracy

We keep this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that every page is free of error or always up to date. Service areas, availability and pricing change.
