Accessibility Statement

What we are aiming at
We build this site to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is the standard most accessibility law points at, and it is the one we test against.
What is in place
- A skip link to jump straight to the main content
- One
h1per page and headings in a sensible order - Every form field has a real label, and the booking steps are grouped with legends
- The step counter announces changes to screen readers as you move through the form
- Visible focus outlines on everything you can reach with a keyboard
- The whole booking form is operable by keyboard alone
- Tap targets on phones are at least 44 pixels, measured rather than assumed
- Text contrast was checked against the color actually behind it, on both light and dark sections and in every state of the booking form, including error messages. No text on either page falls below the AA threshold.
- Decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers rather than described
- The service area map has a text description, and every city on it is also listed in ordinary text below
- Animation is switched off for anyone whose device asks for reduced motion
What is not finished
We would rather tell you than let you find out:
- Some images are still placeholders while we wait on photographs. They are marked as decorative so they are not read out, but they are not final.
- Automated checks catch roughly half of accessibility problems. A full manual screen reader pass and a 400% zoom test are scheduled before the site moves to its final address.
- This statement will be re-checked whenever the site changes.
If something does not work
Tell us and we will fix it. Call or text (801) 819-9709 or email Jayson@shockwaveelectricut.com. Say which page and what went wrong. We aim to reply within two business days.
If you cannot use the form, the phone number works for everything the form does. Nothing on this site is only available through the form.
